Jackie graduated from Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, RGU, Aberdeen in 1998, completing her Part III qualification in 2000.

Jackie formed W9 Architects in 2013 following 12 years with APD Architects, the last 5 years as an Associate. During this period she was involved in the detail design and site supervision of the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena development. More recently she has acted as the project architect on a variety of complex residential developments alterations and extension projects, within and around Edinburgh’s World Heritage Site responsible for all aspects of the design and delivery of these projects from inception to completion. 

Jackie still carries out work for APD, now Taylor Architecture Practice (T.A.P) on an ad hoc basis.

Before joining APD Jackie worked with R.M.J.M. and worked on the Scottish Parliament.
